RAPIST PAST OF ROBBIE TRIBUTE SINGER

- Phil Cardy feedback@people.co.uk

THIS Robbie Williams tribute act is the last singer you would want to Entertain You – he’s a rapist who has served time in prison.

Richard Agacy belts out hits by the Angels legend, performing under the name Kai Jaxson.

But locals who recently enjoyed his May bank holiday singalong had no idea he was once handed an eight-year sentence for attacking a woman.

A source said yesterday: “His previous is shocking.

“I wouldn’t want him on stage around families.” Agacy was rumbled after his performance in Nottinghamshire. He had earlier been gigging in Benidorm before his past caught up with him and he was run out of town.

A whistleblower has now informed UK booking agents about Agacy’s previous offending in a bid to keep him out of clubs.

Agacy, now 37, was jailed for eight years in 2005 for the rape of a 28-year-old.

Croydon crown court in South London heard he posed as a taxi driver to pick up his victim with another man.

Agacy and accomplice Bhattin Elagoz were both found guilty of the 2002 rape.

The pair were arrested after DNA evidence linked them to the attack.

Agacy appeared on ITV show Pop Stars: The Rivals in 2002, which was eventually won by Girls Aloud.

He also claims to have starred in Michael Barrymore’s TV show My Kind of Music.

Agacy, who brags he can sing “everything from the 60s to present” is still listed on a British booking agent’s page under his new stage name. The listing boasts: “Kai Jaxson is a very high class performer singing songs from all eras.”

When his rape conviction was revealed in Spain, Agacy, then calling himself

Johnny Mitchell, reportedly sent a note to a bar owner.

He is said to have moaned: “I’m sorry but I can’t sing in your bar any more or any bar. Have to go back to England cos there’s people here that don’t want me here just because of my past 15 years ago when I went to prison.

“Why can’t people just leave me alone. It’s not fair I served 5-and-a-half years in jail back in 2002 and people still give me hard time but thanks for everything.”

It came after a post warning about Agacy was placed on a Costa Blanca Facebook group with 38,000 members.

It said: “I cannot believe this guy is back in Benidorm. I helped chase him out last time he was here.”

Can’t believe this guy is back... I helped chase him
