43m dental list delays
SOME 43 million missed dental appointments will take years to clear, the NHS has warned.
On top of the backlog caused by Covid, dentists face the worst recruitment and retention crisis in history, according to the British Dental Association.
It says that in some parts of Britain, there is effectively no NHS dental service because of the Government’s failure to invest in dentistry.
