Hick races to fourth TT win

ROAD racing legend Peter Hickman stormed to yesterday’s Isle of Man Senior TT win to make it four wins in a week – as rival Dean Harrison finished second.

Hickman crossed the line 16.918secs clear of Harrison as local favourite, Manxman Conor Cummins, took third in yesterday’s main race.

Hickman said: “There’ve been massive highs and lows all week, but the team has been absolutely phenomenal and the bike’s been ace.” WORLD SUPERBIKES BY ZOE BURN ALVARO BAUTISTA stretched the lead over Jonathan Rea with a win at his Ducati team’s home track in Misano, Italy.

Toprak Razgatlioglu led early on before Rea’s Kawasaki swept ahead, only for Bautista to find a way past on lap 13. With Razgatlioglu forced out by a mechanical issue, Ducati’s Michael Ruben Rinaldi came in third.

“To win is always special but to win here at Misano, Ducati’s home, is very special,” said Spain’s Bautista.
