Willian death threat arrest

BRAZILIAN police have arrested a man after death threats were sent to former Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder Willian.

Willian (above), now back in his homeland playing for Corinthians, asked the authorities in Sao Paulo to investigate after receiving online messages threatening him and his family members with bullets and knives.

Police said a 21-year-old man had been detained and was expected to face charges.

Willian (above) was initially threatened in April after Corinthians lost to Bolivian side Always Ready in the Copa Libertadores but only called in police after his daughter was targeted.
