Reveller in fest death

ONE person has died and at least 40 others were hurt after a stage collapsed at a festival in Spain.

Witnesses said a sudden 50mph sand storm hit Medusa revellers in the early hours yesterday.

Footage showed some festival-goers fleeing, while others continue to party.

The electronic music festival, just outside Valencia, was due to run until today but was suspended by organisers.

They posted on Facebook that “violent strong winds” hit the site at around 4am and they were “devastated” by what had happened.
