A Manchester University student is under investigation for, ahem, “overly enjoying” dubious Japanese comic books and writing a research paper about it.

Tory Neil O’brien said: “Why should hard-working taxpayers in my constituency have to pay for an academic to write about his experiences [REDACTED]?”

Well, hard-working taxpayers had to pay for a Conservative MP to “research tractors” at work...
