Ferguson ready to give his best shot
EWEN FERGUSON remains in pole position to win the ISPS Handa World Invitational.
The Scot set up the chance of a second DP World Tour win with a round of 68 at Galgorm Castle Golf Club yesterday to lead by three with American John Catlin second.
On leading since the opening day, Ferguson said: “I’ve not really thought about it. I’ve just been kind of enjoying it for the last couple of days – and now I need to go on.” SUPERBIKE BY ZOE BURN
JASON O’HALLORAN scorched to his sixth Bennetts British Superbike Championship win of the season as the temperatures soared at Thruxton yesterday.
The heat proved no match for the Australian, as he powered his MCAMS Yamaha to victory ahead of team-mate Taz Mackenzie.
O’halloran said: “It was an exciting race at the start. Glenn Irwin was trying to get front. I kept fighting back as I wanted to lead.”
