NAPOLI STEP UP GUY MOVE

- By Simon Mullock

NAPOLI are set to agree to Tottenham’s demand for a permanent deal for Tanguy Ndombele – but only if they qualify for the Champions League.

The Italian club wanted to take the French midfielder on loan.

But Spurs are demanding a deal that will enable them to secure the 25-year-old’s permanent departure.

And Napoli are hoping the London club will now agree to a compromise that will see them pay a £2.5million loan fee for the season with a £12.6m obligation to buy if they finish in the Champions League places.
