PAUL HURST felt sorry for Rochdale counterpart Robbie Stockdale following Grimsby’s victory.

Luke Waterfall’s stoppage-time header snatched the win, and Hurst said: “I’m sure it will be a sore one for Robbie. His team started off extremely well.”

Stockdale said: “Had we gone in 4-0 up at half-time it would have been a fair reflection.”
