KIERAN MCKENNA saluted Ipswich’s best performance of the season so far.

Goals from Wes Burns, Marcus Harness and Conor Chaplin earned the hosts a convincing victory which sent them top of the standings.

Mckenna said: “That was the best performance we’ve had so far. We’ve had two performances in the league that had very good spells, but that was the longest we’ve been able to maintain it.”

MK Dons will look back at Matt Dennis’ missed chance at 1-0, but Liam Manning accepted his side were second best. He said: “It’s tough to take, but we’ll have to suck up the result and learn from it.”
