“I was told about her going on Strictly before everyone and I had to keep it quiet, which was hard because I’m a gossip,” said Doreen. “I don’t know how I did it but I did.”

Speaking of her pride in the Britain’s Got Talent singer, Doreen said she shares a close bond with

Molly, 21. “She is my little girl, I was so pleased,” beamed Doreen.

“At the weekends her dad used to play football and her mum used to go watch and I’d have Molly. We went everywhere together.”

Molly began her path to fame by singing in front of Simon Cowell on BGT aged 11, finishing sixth.

She is now a star on CBBC’S Nova Jones and Doreen watches her every week – despite confessing: “I’ve not a clue what it’s on about.”
