It’s reffing hell for Mick as Beale’s boys fluff their lines

- Ogbene 33 STEVE JUDGE

MICK BEALE was left deflated after seeing QPR miss a golden opportunity to return to winning ways.

Hoops boss Beale cited four chances wasted, to the point he called two big spotkick shouts as irrelevant.

It looked like a repeat of the home loss to Blackpool was on the cards when Chiedozie Ogbene put the Millers ahead in the 33rd minute but Chris Willock’s fine leveller 10 minutes later at least saved a point. Beale

Willock 43 said: “It has been a tough week – we have missed big opportunities.

“I’m frustrated with one point from six because the players deserve more.

“We missed four massive chances so I’m not waiting on a ref for a decision.” The visitors went ahead after their first shots on target, Ogbene following up to pass into the net after his strike from a free-kick had been blocked.

The lead lasted until Willock picked the ball up 40 yards out and whipped a right-foot strike inside Viktor Johansson’s near post after a sharp one-two with Ilias Chair.

Lyndon Dykes was denied by Johansson on half-time while Chair and sub Sinclair Armstrong fluffed chances after the break.

Millers boss Paul Warne said: “QPR were the better team. We made saves and tackles when we had to.

“On another day we might have won, on another day we might have taken a crack. A point away from home in this league is massive.”
