ARSENAL loanee Tyreece John-jules drew the praise of Ipswich manager Kieran Mckenna after his goal in their win at Shrewsbury.

The striker, 21, marked his first league start for the club with the opening goal as Conor Chaplin and Kayden Jackson also found the target.

Mckenna said: “We all know Tyreece can play in different roles.

“He’s very good between the lines but he’s also capable of playing back to goal and playing a bit higher up.”

Steve Cotterill said: “It was tough for the boys. I think it looked like the month had caught up with us a little bit, certainly this week.”
