22 AUGUST James Corden was born.

The actor and comedian discovered his vocation at the age of four after making guests laugh at his sister’s christening by pulling silly faces.

After graduating from the Jackie Palmer Stage School, he won parts in Fat Friends and The History Boys. The co-creater of Gavin & Stacey then moved to the US in 2015 – with wife Julia and children Max, Carey and Charlotte – to host The Late Late Show. He is set to leave the programme next year to “see what else might be out there”.
