Ex-model and daughter to tell all on TV
KATIE Price and her daughter are hoping to share their unique relationship with fans in a new TV show.
Princess is an aspiring model and the pair want to explore what it’s like for her growing up with a glamour model for a mum.
Katie is engaging with the BBC about the project, which would follow Princess as she turns 16 – serving as a follow-up to Katie’s heartfelt two-parter with her eldest son Harvey.
A source said: “Katie’s had huge success with her documentaries with Harvey and believes this would be just as impactful.
“People are obsessed with the relationship between her and Princess, and all have their opinions – this will be their time to show what goes on behind closed doors. Princess turns 16 in June so it will feature that milestone, as well as looking back at her life growing up and the pressures teenage girls are facing today.”
Katie started modelling in the late 90s at the age of 17, using the name Jordan.
Princess, whose dad is pop star Peter Andre, has wanted to follow the same path since joining her on photoshoots at a young age.
Although she landed an Instagram and Tiktok deal last month with fashion giant Prettylittlething, the documentary would be her first big TV project. It will compare beauty standards affecting teenage girls today and issues such as social media to when Katie rose to fame.
Katie, 44, who lives in Horsham, West Sussex, is also mum to Harvey, 20, Junior, 17, Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight.
She said: “I can absolutely see Princess being a successful model. She’s stunning.
“She’s seen behind the scenes, and loves hair and make-up. I’m sure she’ll enjoy getting dressed up for her own shoots, which I’ll come along to as a proud mum.”
Katie’s documentaries Harvey and Me and What Harvey Did Next won praise for their intimate portrayal of how she raised her son, who has complex conditions.
