BRAHIM DIAZ admits AC Milan face a “unique” challenge in their bid to overturn Inter Milan’s 2-0 lead and make the final.

But the ex-manchester City striker, on loan at the San Siro from Real Madrid, is adamant there is still time for his team to change the face of the tie.

The 23-year-old said: “Defeat was a blow to morale, but we still have 90 minutes to change the picture of the semi-final.

“It is not impossible that we will beat Inter on Tuesday. Matches against your biggest rivals are unpredictable. The teams are equal and, maybe, any team can still win.

“After our excellent run in this Champions League, it would be painful to lose because of the first leg.

“We are really unhappy, but will be looking forward to the second match.

“Milan will look to jump onto the pitch with a unique challenge — to forget the 2-0 defeat and to win through to the final.

“The key will be to get back to our level and score the first goal early.”

Inter keeper Andre Onana insists his side are not taking anything for granted, despite such a comprehensive first-leg victory.

Their goals came from former City striker, Edin Dzeko, and ex-manchester United and Arsenal man Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

But Onana warned: “It’s certain that we have an interesting advantage, but in this type of derby match anything can happen.

“We must use our heads. Milan have to attack from the first moment to search for goals – and that is positive for us – but we can’t relax. We cannot be conservative. That’s impossible.

“Inter won’t change our system – that would be a disaster after our victory.”
