VANESSA Feltz has sworn off toy boys following the devastating split from her cheating younger ex.

The 61-year-old presenter’s engagement to singer Ben Ofoedu, 51, ended in February after he admitted being unfaithful and sexting a second woman. But now Vanessa is seeking a new love on E4’s Celebs Go Dating – and ready to “shake things up” by avoiding age gaps. She said: “I’ve just spent 17 years with a man 10 years younger, so I’m considering not dating a younger man now. Someone I can trust would be good and someone who meant what they said. “I think it would be lovely to have somebody you could actually trust.” The Talkradio host was so devastated by the split she has been out “every night”. She said: “I haven’t wanted to come in and be alone right from the evening to the next morning. But I might start petering out as it’s been six months and that’s a long time to go out every night.”

Celebs Go Dating viewers will follow Vanessa and Made In Chelsea’s Markfrancis Vandelli, Onlyfans favourite Lottie Moss, comic Spuddz and Love Islanders Chloe Burrows and Adam Collard as they try to meet The One.

The mum-of-two said dating again was “terrifying” but added: “It’s quite nice to have somebody else in charge of my romantic affairs. I don’t think they can get it any more wrong than I’ve managed.”

Vanessa, who had a gastric bypass in 2019, has shed a further two stone since her split and says size 12 dresses from pal Myleene Klass’s Next range are now too big.

The star, who is working with plant-based food brand Gosh!, said: “Myleene gave me some dresses the other day and came over to film with me and [they] were much too big.

“It’s the heartbreak diet. I’ve been too heartbroken to eat anything. I’ve been on it before and it’s horrible, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. As soon as I revert to being OK, I’ll start chucking in the chocolate mousses.”
