Bruce bags Davies deal

STEVE BRUCE has won the race to land £ 2.25million Curtis Davies.

Birmingham’s in- demand defender is due in Hull on Monday to finalise his three- year contract worth £ 20,000 a week.

Tigers boss Bruce beat off competition from Celtic, Cardiff and Norwich for the 28- yearold, who was crowned Blues’ player of the season in May.

Davies’ arrival will allow defender Jack Hobbs to leave the KC Stadium.

Leicester, Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday are all interested in the former Liverpool trainee.
