Frosty's Hot!

-

TODAY sees the start of the Betfred Gymcrack at Kinsley. Worth £6,000 to the winner, it has attracted some of the best pups in the country and is live on BAGS/SIS down the bookies.

Kinsley is a tricky track to run and I can’t believe some have not even had a look around the Yorkshire venue — that could be a recipe for disaster.

One greyhound that’s had brilliant preparation is Craig Dawson’s Valentia Frosty (15.53). He’s improved for each of his three trials at the track, this will be his debut but he is bred beautifully being out of the 2010 Irish Oaks winner Dalcash Divinsky.

There are some big names here but Frosty can make it a winning debut.

Bolt Of Blue ( 15.37) and Swift Hoffman ( 15.22) should also take the world of beating and connections will be dreaming of going all the way.

SITTINGBOURNE OPEN- RACES TONIGHT

Black Francis ( 19.54) was very impressive last week live on Sky-Sports leading a top-class field before getting caught over 894m tonight’s race is over 708m and that should suit.

A cracking sprint final is also on the card, I was taken with the performance of Sound Flight ( 20.28) in the heats, if Richard Joyce’s charge can repeat that he should be on the podium and collecting the £500 first-prize.
