MURRAY THE WORLD CUP MANATEE!

EVERY tournament needs a hero – and here at Sunday Sport we’ve unearthed the legend of Brazil 2014 before a ball has even been kicked!

That’s because our team of crack investigators have spent months scouring the planet to track down a punt- picking beast that can GUARANTEE you who will win in the South American heat over the next five weeks – all the way up to and including the final on July 13.

After suffering in the deadly temperatures of the Sahara and the freezing wastes of the Arctic Circle, our boffins finally struck gold in the tropical waters of south Florida.

For that’s where Murray the Manatee lives, thankfully now in peace. The loveable, lazy sea sloth – 1,300lbs of pure ocean hunk – was saved by environmental activists from a life of misery on the Caribbean island of Saint Martin, where he was being used to give rides to the children of fat, disgusting American tourists.

But with our help, he is now free to swim in the warm waters of his wildlife reserve in the Florida Keys.

Seeing Murray glide through the glistening surf is reward enough for these hard- hearted hacks. But Murray insisted on returning our generosity with the gift of football predictions.

So throughout the World Cup we’ll be getting our soothsaying sea cow – the only mostly herbivorous marine mammal the bookies fear – to inform you who’ll win.

It’s simply too good to miss!
