Detectives swooped on Clayton Chigoya’s home after receiving a tip- off he had scenes of an illegal nature on his mobile phone.
They seized 19 devices – including a smartphone which contained 404 videos, seven of which showed sex acts with animals and two other illegal sexual scenes.
The extreme pornographic videos portrayed various sex acts with animals including a horse, eels and a large fish.
Prosecuting, Russell Pine told Reading Crown Court two of the animal sex videos had also been forwarded on to other numbers from Chigoya’s phone, and accused him of being part of a group of animal fetishists.
But Chigoya, 47, denied any wrongdoing and claimed his phone was “faulty”.
The suspended social worker denied five counts of possessing extreme pornographic images and two counts of possessing other indecent images.
The dad- of- three, of Slough, Berks, claimed he had never seen any of the seven the videos, which were sent through WhatsApp messages.
He did admit he had previously watched animal porn films but blamed his faulty phone for receiving and sending messages he claimed he had no idea about.
Chigoya was found
He sounds like a slippery
customer guilty of all seven counts and released on bail to be sentenced in May.
He was suspended from his job as a social worker on August 5, 2013, by the Health and Care Professions Council, following his arrest.
