TERROR F**KWIT!

ISIS wannabe blows himself up in clocks-go-back confusion

- By BARNEY SAMUELS news@ sundaysport. co. uk

THE clocks going back an hour spelled doom for “utter f** kwit” Brian Grant, when he attempted to alter a bomb’s timer… and it blew him to bits.

Grant, a would- be jihadi who goes by the name of Mohammed Aboud, has repeatedly tried to join terror death nutjobs ISIS but has always failed the interview.

And his latest attempt to join the head- choppy fundamentalists went about as badly as it could.

A security source said: “We received reports in the early hours of Saturday of a small explosion at a location that cannot be revealed for operational reasons.

“This guy was blown to bits but we found out from dental records that he was Mohammed Aboud, formerly Brian Grant.

“Examination of the device that caused the explosion suggests that he was trying to adjust the clock, with the clocks going back on Sunday morning.

Fail- safe

“We’re not sure if he put it forward by mistake, or set off a fail- safe switch. God knows what he did. Nothing’s beyond this twat. An utter f** kwit.

“Safe to say, he won’t be troubling us again. They were scraping bits of him off the walls.”

Former shelf- stacker Grant, from Rhyl, travelled to Syria via Turkey after becoming convinced he would like to be a martyr.

But the 25- year- old fell at the first hurdle as he could not grow an Islamic- style beard due to a skin complaint.

After appealing to ISIS higher- ups, he was allowed to travel to one of the group’s camps – only to be laughed out because he was wearing cheap Aldi trainers.

It’s thought that Grant’s attempt to plant a bomb was a last- ditch attempt at currying favour with ISIS chiefs.

But last night an ISIS source said: “We would not have had that tool for all the virgins in Paradise. Honestly, he would have made us a laughing- stock and truly damaged the ISIS brand.

“Though, obviously, our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones at this difficult time.” TOCK- UP: Wannabe jihadi Barry and ( below) bomb scene
