‘ Who is the victim?’ asks man caught pulling pud

-

A MAN accused of wanking at a railway station told cops, “It’s a victimless crime!”

Jason Leonard Shaw was detained after officers were alerted to CCTV footage of the incident.

Refusing bail, a judge described Shaw, 47, as having no insight into his alleged behaviour at the Lisburn station, Country Antrim.

In court, Lord Justice Stephens pointed out: “He wanted to know what the problem was with masturbating in public.”

Shaw, of Belfast, faces charges of indecent exposure and outraging public decency.

Police were called after Shaw had been spotted pulling his pud near the station’s rear entrance.

Shaw was arrested after being found at the scene with his trouser buttons undone.

During interviews he made no comment, but asked if he wanted to add anything, he stated that he wanted to know who the victim was for him masturbating in public.

The judge dismissed an application for bail based on the risk of his re- offending.

He added: “I don’t consider any court order would prevent him from doing the same again in future.”
