STUDENTS SUE PAL OVER LEAKED VID

THREE stunning students have launched legal action against a pal who leaked a video of them romping topless on the internet.

The 30- second clip of the University of West Lancashire undergraduates went viral and was watched an estimated 120,000 times worldwide.

Now the “stars” of the clip, 19- year- old Debs Franklin, along with Sarah Jones and Francesca Harris – both 20 – are suing pal SAFE SPACE: The girls’ university PRIVATES MOMENT: Girls are suing over this video Josh Harper who they say invaded their privacy by posting the video.

Law student Sarah, who is leading the legal action, said: “The way this video has been presented is salacious – it’s made out almost as one of those Dare Dorm- style porn movies.

“That’s not how it was at all. We’re not after a fortune in compensation or anything. We just want everyone to know we’ve been wronged, misrepresented and that a private moment has been violated.

“We are sorry that we’ve had to take this course of action because Josh was a friend. But we have to fight to defend the safe space of the university campus.”

On taking legal advice, Josh, 21, refused to comment when asked about the legal action.

A spokesman for the university said that guidelines on personal behaviour were under “const ant review”.
