BRITISH actress Keeley Hawes is the star everyone’s talking about thanks to her role in brand new BBC drama

is on BBC One at 9pm tonight, but here’s 10 things you might not know about the show’s leading lady… KEELEY isn’t her real name, she was born Clare Julia Hawes. But Keeley has stuck with her throughout her acting career. SHE made a cameo appearance in Pulp’s Common People music video in 1995. WHEN she was younger, she lived with Spice Girl Emma Bunton in Marylebone, London, for six months and they had caravan holidays together. HER dad and her two older brothers are all London taxi drivers. KEELEY says there should be sex scenes in EVERY tv show. She once said: “Seeing a bit of rumpy pumpy is always fun in a TV drama – it’s just part of life and should be in every good show.” HER big break came when she was spotted on Oxford Street in London by a modelling agent when she was just 16. But she said: “I really was the worst model of all time because my arse was too fat and I couldn’t be bothered to go on diets and things.” SHE voiced Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider video game franchise from 2006- 2010. KEELEY says her most embarrassi­ng item of clothing is a signed Vanilla Ice t- shirt which she queued up to get signed in the 90s.
