‘ Fingered’ thief gives cops finger

A WOMAN gave cops the double finger – as they took her MUGSHOT.

Suspected thief Shana Hilsman ( above), 33, was nicked after “several” reports of cars being broken into on the same road.

One resident captured CCTV footage of a woman trying to break into their car twice in the same week in January.

Then at 1am on February 1, a police officer said he observed Hilsman walking onto a homeowner’s drivewearing the same clothing as in the January surveillance footage.

He stopped her, and she was found to be possession of burglary tools including a screwdriver, hammer and the same torch seen on the CCTV.

Hilsman was later charged with breaking into cars in Spotswood, New Jersey – but it is her mugshot that most will remember.

One police source said: “It will likely go down as one of the most defiant mugshots.

“She quite clearly doesn’t give a toss about what she is alleged to have done, who she did it to, or who arrested her. Let’s see how cocky she is when the cell door closes.”
