Monkey kidnaps baby!

GOING APE: Tot snatched to be a playmate A MONKEY kidnapped a two- year- old boy from a house so it had someone to play with – then refused to give him back.

The primate and the tot were filmed sitting by the roadside as the monkey tried to peel something from the child’s hair.

A woman is seen approaching the primate to rescue the baby, who was thought to have been taken from a house in Haryana, India, but the ape hugged the child and refused to give it up.

The woman could be heard saying: “From where did you get the baby, Let me take it home.”

But the monkey hugged the kid more, not letting the lady take him along with her.

The monkey appeared to be acting playfully with the toddler.

But the baby had no idea what was going on or how to escape the ape.

The woman eventually freed the child and took the oblivious nipper home.

There have been other incidents of babies being stolen by monkeys in the country.

A newborn baby was found drowned in a well in Odisha last year after being snatched away by an ape.

The beast accidently dropped the baby in the well after it slipped out of its hands, sending the child to its death.
