Son murders dad during AA meet

A MAN was stabbed to death by his son while he was taking part in an online Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.

Recovering alcoholic Dwight Powers was on the Zoom call when son Thomas Scully- Powers allegedly knifed him, while other participants watched helpless.

Several members of the chat were said to have scrambled to call cops after the incident in Amityville, New York.

Scully- Powers, 32, was arrest about an hour later, after he initially fled the scene.

He has been charged with second degree murder, police said.

Dwight ( 72, was at home and set up for the AA meeting with 20 other men.

His son allegedly appeared naked in the Zoom chat after the incident.
