Parlours reopen for hand relief
THAI massage parlours are set to reopen – but only for HANDJOBS.
The South East Asian country’s Public Health Ministry said it will ask the COVID- 19 task force to allow its infamous parlours to reopen but only to treat “organs below the waist”.
The move comes after operators urged authorities to reopen their venues as soon as possible due to economic worries.
An official spokesman said that massages to the upper body, such as the neck, shoulders and back, must wait since it could pose a higher risk of spreading COVID- 19.
However, the idea will be left to the task force to decide.
Last week, the task force allowed venues such as shopping malls, gyms, beauty clinics and public swimming pools to reopen, with restrictions.
