IT wasn’t just Harry Maguire partying on the Greek holiday island of Mykonos this month…
Notorious seat- sniffer Clinton Dennison was also making whoopee there.
And just like the Manchester United captain, 34- year- old Clinton found himself on the wrong side of the Greek cops.
On Tuesday, Maguire was given a suspended sentence of 21 months and 10 days in prison after his trial on various charges following his arrest on Mykonos.
He is appealing, and insists he was protecting his sister from Albanian gangsters during the scuffle with landed him in court .
During his trial, it emerged he’d asked Greek cops: “Don’t you know who I am?”
Those very same words were uttered by Dennison, from Crewe, Cheshire, when he was caught sniffing seats in a bar that Maguire had been in on his night of shame.
A witness revealed: “Everyone was having a good tine and I spotted this weedy- looking guy with glasses sniffing some seats that some girls had just vacated.
“It took a while but then I realised it was Clinton Dennison, who
I’d read about in Sunday Sport.
“Anyway, the girls started screaming, the bouncers came over and threw him out. Clinton was giving it all that outside the club, calling it a poxy place, etc.
“The cops came and told him to calm down but he lashed out at them, whining, ‘ Don’t you know who I am? I’m Clinton Dennison’
“The police looked at each other mystified and took him to a van where I presume he got a sound Greek thrashing.”
Last night Dennison had gone to ground.
