Jail teacher caged for sex with teen
A PRISON teacher who had sex with a juvenile detention centre inmate has been jailed for seven years.
“Let’s just say I f** ked up a bit,” Maggie Stastny, 33, wrote on Facebook, according to an arrest affidavit.
Stastny, who was married at the time, was sentenced in Arapahoe County District Court after pleading guilty in March to one count of sexual exploitation of a child.
The former educator at Marvin W. Foote Youth Services Centre in Centennial, Colorado, told a prison guard she had sex with the underage male inmate twice in May 2019, according to a probable cause arrest affidavit.
The pair then met up a month later, after the youth had been released from detention, to have sex in a toilet at a Denver public library.
Illicit
The affidavit also revealed a Facebook conversation between Stastny and a co- worker in which she confessed to the illicit meetups, including having sex in a car.
“Let’s just say I f** ked up a bit,” Stastny wrote. “I definitely slept with him.”
Stastny went on to admit oral, full and even taboo ANAL romps with the lad.
Stastny, who was arrested in September 2019, told investigators she gave the juvenile inmate several thousand dollars and claimed he “had complete control over her”.
Stastny was put on leave after allegations surfaced in May 2019.
Cherry Creek School District officials said they had decided not to renew her contract prior to the accusations.
After Stastny’s arrest, her husband reportedly filed for divorce.
A prison school source said: “Youths are put in detention for punishment and rehabilitation, not to shove their peckers up their schoolteachers. No sir.”
