Cops hunt peeper in beanie hat

SHOCKED residents have been left terrified after a naked Peeping Tom was spotted looking through their windows.

The perv, believed to be in his twenties, was wearing just a beanie hat at the time.

It was reported to cops after the man trawled the street naked in Carlisle, exposing his knob and looking in windows.

Councillor Louise Atkinson said: “I really want to urge people to report this kind of thing and make sure the police are aware.

“It is important that we protect each other.”

Cumbria police have since put out an appeal, asking the public to call them if they know who the man is, or if they saw the incident.

A police spokesman added: “The man is described as being in his twenties, between 5ft 9ins and 6ft tall, and of medium build.”
