BILL’S DIDDY DOUBLE IS A BUGGER FOR THE BIRDS!
Meet Will Gates, boss of MicroLOFT
Titchy builder William Gates is often mistaken for his billionaire namesake Bill Gates, not least because he’s the spitting image of the Microsoft founder.
And because his loft conversion business is called MICROLOFT!
Will, 53, spotted a gap in the market 15 years ago and now converts lofts for little people.
And while he can’t quite boast Bill Gates’s £ 89 BILLION fortune, he’s doing well and lives in a custom- built mansion outside Biddulph, Staffs.
What’s more, publicity surrounding Bill’s divorce from wife of 27 years Melinda is all grist to Will’s mill.
He laughed: “All over North Staffs I’m known as the loft- converting Bill Gates lookalike. If Bill’s in the news, I’m on people’s minds.
“Luckily for me, my face is free advertising!”
Although Will converts lofts for folks of all sizes, it is his patented Microloft system for little people that’s his unique selling point.
He explained: “Most loft conversions are for normal sized people. But because roofs slope, little people can get a lot more effective floorspace, as they don’t need as much headroom.
“Microloft can give customers under five feet as much as 10 per cent more floorspace. It’s a simple idea which stands to reason when you think about it.
“But I was the first to think about it and so I am reaping the rewards.”
And like his doppelganger, Will is mad for pussy.
He laughed: “All birds like a bloke with a tool belt and most birds want to try sex with a dwarf.
“I’ve got birds on the go in Leek, Hanley, Congleton, even Macclesfield.
“I don’t know where I get the time for loft conversions sometimes!”
Meanwhile, the full- sized Bill Gates is in the middle of an expensive divorce.
The super- rich nerd has transferred nearly £ 2.1bn of shares to Melinda.
Gates, 65, and his estranged wife, 56, filed for divorce on May 4 after 27 years of marriage.
The couple’s combined net worth is estimated at $ 124bn.
Gates co- founded Microsoft with his late childhood friend Paul Allen in 1975 and built it into one of the largest companies in the world.
Mission
He was already one of the world’s wealthiest people when he met Melinda French, a marketing manager at the company, in 1987.
The couple have said they intend to continue working with their philanthropic Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
“We continue to share a belief in that mission and will continue our work at the foundation, but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in this next phase of our lives,” they said earlier this month.
