FOR THE LOVE OF GOD – WHAT’S HE DOING THERE?!

Royal fans in tears as SEAT-SNIFFER spotted lurking near Diana’s dress

ROYAL fans were comforted by palace flunkeys after Britain’s most notorious seat- sniffer was spotted skulking around Princess Diana’s wedding dress.

Diana groupies flocked to her former home, Kensington Palace, last week after the frock she wore to her 1981 wedding to Prince Charles went on display.

But among the crowds, many of whom were mumbling the mantra “Diana, Diana, why did you leave us?”, was 34- year- old Clinton Dennison.

The unemployed pervert from Crewe, Cheshire, became known for sniffing the bike seats of famous women.

But he has since cast his net wider, crouching down to smell ladies’ bottoms wherever he gets the opportunity.

Thanks to Sunday Sport’s reporting, Dennison is no longer able to lurk in the shadows and his presence at Kensington Palace was soon noticed.

There were several screams of “It’s Clinton Dennison”, and some of the more unstable Diana fans broke down in tears, begging “Diana’s eternal spirit” for protection.

Dennison was asked to leave “to preserve the dignity of the exhibition” and was hustled out via a side entrance “without incident”.

Clinton- watchers believe the weirdo was there to sniff the bottoms of Diana fans and did not have any plans to try and sniff the frock itself.

A police source said: “The dress is behind glass, mainly to protect it from Diana nuts who would try and cut a piece off, believing it has magical powers.

“But it also stopped Dennison getting close and attempting to inhale any ghostly vapours of Princess Di that may have been lingering after 40 years.”

Diana fan Tish Ballantyre, 56, said she came to see the dress to feel closer to the “spirit of Diana”, who she claims regularly appears to her in dreams.

Divorced Tish, who has seven cats, blathered: “I thought it would be just me and Diana but no, some pest wanting to sniff my bum was there.

“Even as she looks down on us from Heaven, Diana is not free from unwanted attention.”
