DEATH STAR SPOTTED IN NEW NASA SPACE PHOTO
IT was an image to make us reconsider our position amid the unimaginable vastness of space and time…
A snapshot, taken deep into the universe, looking at light that started its long journey towards Earth a staggering 13 BILLION years ago.
The image from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope was so profound that space boffin Prof Brian “Billions and Billions” Cox had to be brought in by BBC Breakfast to explain things to its viewers.
But even eagle- eyed stargazer Coxy missed something in the picture…
Firepower
Because spectrographic analysis of the snap by Sunday Sport’s in- house experts has revealed a DEATH STAR in the frame!
The vast space station, around half the size of the Moon and with enough firepower to destroy an entire planet can be seen hiding in the galaxy cluster
SUNDAY SPORT EXCLUSIVE named SMACS 0723.
Last night Prof Rufus Worthington of the University of West Lancs Department of Space said: “The images from the James Webb Space Telescope are wonderful.
“The discovery of a Death Star is, however, terrifying.
“Due to the distortion of the images caused by gravity bending space- time, it’s impossible to tell how far away the Death Star actually is.
“But any distance is ‘ too close’ when it comes to a Death Star.”
Last night NASA sources poo- poohed our chilling find,
calling it an “elaborate hoax”.
But it’s thought that President Biden, who unveiled the first images from the James Webb Space Telescope last week, has put the USA’s Space Force on high alert.
Security officials have warned the President that even if it is NOT a Death Star in the picture, it could be evidence that Russian hackers have compromised NASA’s image library.
The $ 9billion Webb observatory, the largest and most powerful space science telescope ever launched, was designed to peer through the cosmos to the dawn of the known universe, ushering in a revolutionary new era of astronomical discovery.
