‘It’s the only way I can clean under my fat flaps!’
PLUS- size model Tina Hesketh is appealing her hosepipe ban fine because that’s the only way she can properly clean herself.
The 28- year- old scorcher, from Horsham in West Sussex, makes a living showing off her curves for specialist websites, but her bulky body creates problems when it comes to personal hygiene.
And the former doctor’s receptionist, who had to quit her job thanks to her 29st girth, said the only solution is to lie in the garden and have someone hose her down.
Breach
But last week a nosy neighbour reported her to Southern Water and she has since received a letter saying she’s being fined £ 1,000 for the breach!
So Tina, who now makes around £ 2,500- a- month from her modelling work, said she can’t afford to pay.
She told Sunday Sport: “This is about my personal hygiene and dignity.
“I can guarantee that the person who drew up these rules does not have a problem wiping their own arse on a toilet. If they drop an éclair on their belly they can just pick it up, but I have to leave it until someone can help me.
“It’s typical of this anti- curvy world we live in that no- one thought about people whose only way of getting clean is to be hosed down.
“For me, that is the only way of getting under my fat flaps and into all the nooks and crevices, if you know what I mean.
“By which I mean my arse – I need a hosepipe with a brush attached to clean my arse. Like they do with elephants at the zoo, and that.
“There is no way I will pay that fine, no way on God’s green, well… brown, earth.
“It’s proper discrimination, that’s what it is.”
