WHAT DO YOU think of

THIS WEEK: SHOULD GARETH SOUTHGATE GET THE SACK?

- Luke Milton, Wolverhampton Joe Stuart, Glasgow

I RECKON it is time that Gareth Southgate is shown the red card. We should get Kevin Keegan in. What’s he doing now?

I used to have hair just like him. Mind you we all did back then. Must have been something in the water because you don’t see much curly hair these days.

Or moustaches. Not since they took the lead out of the petrol. Must be something to do with that.

Alan Ball, Lincoln

GARETH deserves another shot at leading the lads into a major tournament.

He got us into a final for God’s sake. When did that last happen?

People are talking like he is another Steve McLaren but he’s nothing like him.

For a start he’s not Dutch like Steve McLaren was for a bit and he not only made it to a World Cup – he got to the semi- final.

IF it means Mauricio Pochettino gets the job then Gareth Southgate must stay – no matter how rubbish we are.

There is no way I will support an England side with a bloody Argie in the dugout. He even played for the cheating buggers back in the day.

Did our national hero Maggie Thatcher die for nothing?

If we win they’ll probably demand the Falklands back.

THE England boss doesn’t need to be a full- time manager’s job.

There’s only a few games a year so anyone could do it really. You spend most of the year swanning up and down the country watching games and getting off ten minutes before the end in your chauffeur- driven motor.

My Sunday league team are undefeated in the Shropshire and District Division Two South this season – and I bet our manager would give it a go.

Mind you I wouldn’t trust him around all those WAGS, not after what happened with our striker’s missus.

Spunk all over the seats there was.

Tim Spring, Church Stretton, Shrops.

I DINNAE ken why anyone would want the England manager’s job.

It’s a poisoned chalice in my opinion.

If you no win the World Cup yous are called shite and are oot of a job whatever happens.

From my point of view, the best thing for England is to stay a load of shite because that’s what they’ll call you anyway.

They’re all shitebags and I hope they never qualify fae anything ever again.
