DIANE ABBOTT SNUBBED MY JEWISH RABBIT
LEFT wing Labour veteran Diane Abbott faces new claims of anti- semitism today after she was accused of mocking a RABBIT with a Jewish name.
Bunny fan and Labour member Fiona Williams had taken her long- eared pal Ephraim to a ‘ Pet Owners Hate The Tories’ event in Abbott’s Hackney constituency, at which the MP was guest of honour.
Fiona, 34, said: “I have always admired Diane, as the first black female MP and a staunch defender of minority rights. I was convinced that all this talk of anti- semitism on the Labour Left was a right- wing plot to thwart plans for a Socialist Britain.
“Diane chatted to all the pet owners and then came to me. I could tell that she had a soft spot for rabbits and pulled a bit of lettuce from her pocket.
“She asked, ‘ What’s his name?’ and I replied, ‘ Ephraim’. Diane pulled a funny face and said, ‘ Ephraim? That’s a strange name’. I replied that it was an ancient Jewish name.

“I can’t say for certain but I’m sure Diane’s eyes flickered a bit and she muttered something under her breath.
“She put the lettuce back in her pocket, snubbing poor Ephraim, who looked like he would have enjoyed that bit of lettuce.
“I am convinced that Diane Abbott snubbed my rabbit as he has a Jewish name. And that is simply not on.
“When I heard that Diane got into trouble over that letter to
The Observer, it did not surprise me one bit.”
Last week Ms Abbott was suspended from the Labour Party after writing a letter to the left- wing Observer newspaper.
In the letter she argued that only black people experience racism and that the genocidal persecution of Jewish people over the years is akin to the mockery that ginger folk get.
Ms Abbott later issued a full apology and explained that she had sent the wrong version of the letter.
Ms Abbott is not the only
Labour left- winger to be accused of crimes against rabbits.
In 2017 Sunday Sport reported how former Labour leader – and Ms Abbott’s ex- lover – Jeremy Corbyn, was accused of squashing a baby bunny during a teenage pogo stick rampage.
