RAPPER Jay-Z says he uses his music as “therapy sessions”. The Empire State Of Mind singer doesn’t like to talk about how he feels with other people. But he reckons when he gets into the studio, he lets it all come out in his songs.

Jay Z, 40, said: “It’s really like therapy sessions. That’s why I do it in the studio. I’m not a person who will sit and talk about my feelings.

“But the music just pulls it out, and it’s like, ‘Man, I can’t believe I held that in for 12 years!’

“My life after childhood has two main stories: the story of the hustler and the story of the rapper.

“I was on the streets from the time I was 13. I learned about integrity, about the importance of being a man of your word. These are things that apply in

business today.”
