GET A GRIP, PIRELLI!

THERE was a time when the racy Pirelli calendar was a proper treat – a cheeky, illicit glimpse of undraped ladies’ busters in your local garage.

But these are changing times and undraped ladies are more or less taboo in the era of # MeToo agitation.

Pirelli has unveiled its annual calendar for 2019, which is all about “championing female ambition”, if you will.

Now in its 46th edition, the iconic calendar is a far cry from the pin- ups it was once famed for, though this year’s iteration does still feature a bit of tit.

Dubbed “dreaming”, the photographic series, by Albert Watson, stars model Gigi Hadid, ballet dancer Misty Copeland, and actors Julia Garner and Laetitia Casta, with each of them taking on different roles to tell the tale of four women pursuing their own dreams and passions.

One long term Pirelli calendar fan said: “There used to be a new pair of tits every month – now there’s barely one full pair in the whole bloody year. Bah!” AT LAST! Some bare busters to gawp at IMPLIED: No full- on boobs or bush here!
