CELEB Pattison: I gained weight in jungle

VICKY Pattison has admitted she put weight ON during her time in I’m A Celebrity.

The jungle queen, who lost three stone before appearing on the ITV show, also spoke about the current campmates shedding the pounds.

Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning, she said: “They’ve lost over six stone altogether. Jamie’s really struggling, Amir’s really struggling.

“I think across the board campmates lose around 11 pounds a series. I mean, I didn’t get that memo – I actually gained weight in the jungle.”

A shocked Holly exclaimed: “Really? No you didn’t!”

But Vicky insisted: “I managed to put weight on, yeah.”

“You had quite good trials that year,” Holly remarked.

Vicky added: “Yeah you’ve got to think we had Ferne (McCann from The Only Way Is Essex), nothing phases her, Lady C (Colin Campbell) – she’s a tough old cookie.

“We weren’t going to let beat us, so I was eating better out there than I did here!”

Back in 2015, former Geordie Shore star Vicky insisted that slimming down helped her survive the harsh experience.

She said: “Everything changed when I lost weight. I changed and I got my confidence back. I don’t think I would have done the jungle when I was bigger. I couldn’t have done the challenges and fit through the tubes.

“You have to be physically fit and strong for those challenges. It is demanding. If you are bigger you can’t do it.”

Meanwhile, Dennis Wise has insisted he’s mates with Iain Lee and denies ‘bullying’ the comic.

The ex-Newcastle United director of football became the sixth star to leave I’m A Celebrity 2017 after being booted out of the jungle.

Viewers finally got their wish for Dennis to leave after Iain admitted that the ‘banter’ in camp had made him “feel uncomfortable”.

But appearing on Good Morning Britain, Dennis denied doing anything wrong.

“I was shocked to be honest when I actually saw all that,” he said, speaking about the ‘bullying’ storm.
