Tigers roar to victory in Adkins’ first game

WIGAN extended their lead at the top to four points with a 2-0 victory over Fleetwood as nearest rivals Shrewsbury were held 1-1 at MK Dons.

Nick Powell and Dan Burn scored before the break as the Latics claimed a third straight league win.
