Reporter A TYNESIDE home is being used to shoot a ‘near orgy’ for a film featuring a former EastEnders star.

“Semi naked” extras are being recruited for a swinging scene shot for the film ‘Muscle’ at an unknown location in Gosforth, Newcastle.

The flick stars Craig Fairbrass – known for playing Dan in the BBC1 soap – who casting bosses say will be on the set.

And extras are being offered just over £69 to strip off.

“We have quite a few people interested in it,” said casting boss Camilla Fox, who got her start with Byker Grove.

“We need about 20 people in total but we already have some candidates, so we probably only need another five.

“The scene is supposed to be a bit of a crazy party on the verge of an orgy - but not quite an orgy. The poster for upcoming movie Muscle, starring Craig Fairbrass “It is semi-naked, not full naked.” An advert from her firm Fox Casting said is seeking middle-aged extras to shoot “wild party scenes”.

“We are looking for people comfortable to depict swinging scenes,” reads the advert. “We are not saying the people in the scenes are real life swingers only that they are acting as such.

“We have a female stripper and twerked (SIC) who dances at the party so open-mined people are required.”

Another advert states applicants “must be comfortable with adult content scenes”.

The upcoming thriller centres on an unhappy office worker whose life is taken over by a fitness trainer, played by Fairbrass.

The actor appeared in Cliffhanger with Sylvester Stallone, although he is arguably most famous for his EastEnders role, where he was accused of shooting Phil Mitchell.

Production started earlier this year in the North East, but was halted so Last Kingdom actor Cavan Clerkin could “bulk up” for his role.
