And is dodger

Killingworth and West Moor Hub class.

Rachel Falcus, who runs the class, couldn’t be prouder of her “biggest loser”.

“She has been coming for just over two years and the weight loss took her just over a year, which is brilliant,” said Rachel, who has been running the class for almost a decade.

“She was very focused and determined and lost it.

“When she came into the group she was very shy, but like a lot of members they come out of her shell.”

That new-found confidence is largely down her to her trim 9st 10lb figure – and the support of her other slimmers who she said are like family. And she has done it without a salad in sight. “I don’t eat it – unless it is a Subway one with loads of chicken on,” joked Yvette.

And her crowing glory came this year when she beat over 1,000 other slimmers to make the final 32 of Slimming World’s “Woman of the Year”.

But she still has one regret – one she wants to share with everybody who is starting to diet.

“I gave all my big clothes to charity, and I wish I’d kept something to remind myself how much I’ve lost,” she admits.

Super-slimmer Yvette Gough, 34, has shed eight dress sizes after starting Slimming World classes, and insists it was all done without ever going near a salad!
