Cheryl is Greatest comfort

-

CHERYL has been praised by another judge on The Greatest Dancer after she helped his young son who fell ill.

Glee star Matthew Morrison’s one-year-old Revel needed medical treatment shortly after arriving in Britain to film the BBC show.

But he’s revealed the Geordie singer was “instrumental” in helping the tot get the help he needed, reports The Mirror.

“The first week I was here my son got really sick and she was really helping me out with who to go see and doctors and stuff like that,” said the 40-year-old.

Speaking ahead of last night’s grand final, he went on: “It’s great having a fellow parent who has a very similar-aged child going through that kind of stuff, especially in a foreign country.”

Cheryl, 35, is juggling being a judge on the show with bringing up son Bear, also one, after splitting from former One Direction star Liam Payne, 25.

Matthew added: “I’m really impressed with how she handles everything.”

The Broadway star also took a dig at the credibility of other TV reality judges saying they didn’t have the skills to justify their positions.

He went on: “The thing that has really separates us from judges on other shows is that you see us dancing every week and we are putting ourselves out there and I think it really validates the show.”

This week, Yorkshire comedian Steff Todd wowed fans on Instagram by imitating the former Girls Aloud star’s Geordie accent.

Mimicking Cheryl’s role as a judge on The Greatest Dancer, the Yorkshire sound-a-like states: “Well you know what, I totally loved that performance, I love your energy, I love how well you work as a group.”

“But, one bit of advice ... I’m the greatest dancer.”
