LEAGUE leaders Middlesbro­ugh were restricted to 141 all out in an excellent game at Acklam Park.

Only James Lowe (37) and Joe Gaudie (35) contribute­d with the bat, as Shaun Charlton claimed 3-39 and Tom Brooks 3-31, for visiting champions Richmondsh­ire.

Boro fought back reducing the Dalesmen to 69-5, then Gary Pratt dug in and scored 39 from 104 balls, alongside Jonathan Pears 46, which allowed the Dalesmen to creep over the line on 142-9, to win by one wicket.

Stockton batted first at Billingham Synthonia, with Matthew Gill scoring 46, James Ward 41 not out and Lewis Beaumont added a very useful 55 runs from 59 balls, in a total of 214-6. The visitors opening bowler Jamie Burke, then tore into the Synners batting, claiming 3-15 with only Tayyab Tahir resisting with 47 runs. However, they were eventually all out for just 104, as Richard Waite and Leigh Beaumont shared the last six wickets.

Great Ayton opener Jon Grainge batted well for his team, scoring an excellent 109 from 143 balls, which included 14 fours, as they made 221-9 against Thornaby at Leven Park. In reply, Lewis Harper made an excellent 104 from 75 balls, which included four fours and six sixes, but Doug Mulholland with 4-58 and Alfie Taylor-clarke with 3-10, saw their side seal a 22 run victory.

Hartlepool were skittled for just 99 runs at home to Barnard Castle, with Karl Carver claiming an excellent 6-12 from 7.5 overs. Barney were comfortabl­e winners by seven wickets, as opener Jamie Clarkson made 59 not out from 72 balls.

Marton collapsed again to 97 all out, as they entertaine­d Darlington. Muhammad Saad claimed an excellent 5-29 from his 15 overs, reducing them to 33-5 at one stage. The Feethams outfit strolled to victory on 98-1, as former player Liam Coates made 43 not out, with the home side still without a win.

Saltburn opener Sam Parry top scored with a brilliant 109 not out from 155 balls, as they made 192-7 at home to Stokesley. In reply, the visitors held on for the draw at 1538.
