Two goals in six minutes from Djavan Pedro and Jake Burton looked to have put their side on their way to a notable scalp.

But the points were to be shared as striker Darius Osei stepped up to take a late penalty and stroked it home.

Now the Mariners will head into Tuesday’s home game with Gainsborough Trinity looking to extend their unbeaten run in the league to four games.

Former Hull City youngster Rob Guilfoyle scored twice and Adam Boyes found the net once again as Marske

United’s fine start to their first season at step three continued with a 4-2 win at Ashton United.

The impressive result on the road takes Carl Jarrett’s men to the top of the Premier Division table.

Consett earned their first win as an East Division club as Kieren Aplin and Jake Orrell both found the net in their 2-1 home triumph against Tadcaster Albion.

And Hebburn Town moved to the top of the table with a 1-0 win at Grimsby Borough thanks to a second-half strike from Amar Purewal.
