A Hugill problem
Riverside since mid-September.
The forwards will insist that more goals will come if more chances are created.
The problem is that, when the occasional opening is created, it is not being taken.
So nobody in the team should feel comfortable while Boro are trying to get back on the rails at the Riverside.
Britt Assombalonga and Martin Braithwaite are under increasing pressure from Hugill, Rudy Gestede and Ashley Fletcher.
There are places up for grabs for those players who can grasp the nettle and make things happen in front of goal.
The main thing from Hugill’s point of view is that he keeps his head up and does things the way he does them best.
