A spot of beauty at old office

Sunday Sun - - News -

A FORMER solicitor’s office in Gateshead could become a beauty parlour if an application to change its use goes ahead.

Jade Barrass has asked the council for permission to change the use of the Low Fell premises.

If her application is successful she will provide beauty treatments such as make-up, nails, eyelashes and brows from the Durham Road shop.

In a planning statement she wrote that there are two car parking bays nearby, which will give her clients “easy access” to her business.

The council’s transport department agreed, saying it had no objection to the plans.

Gateshead Council will decide whether to grant the application by February 3.
