Changes to night bus timetable

STAGE­COACH has an­nounced changes to its New­cas­tle night bus routes and timeta­bles

The op­er­a­tor, which re­stored the late night/early morn­ing week­end ser­vice last year, is adding new stops and ex­tend­ing one of its routes in the city’s west end.

From Fri­day, Jan­uary 25, the night buses will serve New­cas­tle Cen­tral Sta­tion, from a stop in Bewick Street.

Other city cen­tre stops in Pil­grim Street, Hay­mar­ket and Black­ett Street will con­tinue to be used too.

Stage­coach is ex­tend­ing its N88 ser­vice to Fen­ham.

From Fri­day, Jan­uary 25, the N88 ser­vice will also call at Spi­tal Tongues and Fen­ham Hall Drive.

Stage­coach says there will also be mi­nor changes to routes and timeta­bles of most night buses.

Night buses op­er­ate on Fri­day and Satur­day nights in New­cas­tle. Fi­nal de­par­tures are around 3am from the city cen­tre.
